Job summary

Mistral is expanding its US Talent Acquisition team to build and scale our research and engineering hires from the ground up. You will work with Research leadership to map roles, define specs, and lead end-to-end recruitment for frontier-model teams in the US.

In this high-growth environment, you will drive candidate experience, partner with leaders, and codify best practices to support our frontier-model ambitions and tech recruitment strategy across the US.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in startup/high-growth environments.
• Experience recruiting for Research Science and Research Engineering roles.
• Strong network in US research/engineering markets and ability to engage senior researchers.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment across US research science and engineering roles, including market mapping and role specs.
• Partner with researchers and hiring managers to build pipelines and close top talent in a competitive market.
• Develop standardized interview rubrics and improve recruiting processes using data.
