Job summary

Mistral is expanding its US Talent Acquisition team focused on building and scaling research and engineering capabilities. This role will partner with Research leadership to define hiring needs, craft role specs, and attract exceptional researchers and engineers who can drive Mistral's frontier-model ambitions in the US.

You will own end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing to close, across US Research Science and Research Engineering, while shaping candidate experience and recruitment operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of recruiting experience focused on research science and research engineering.
• Experience hiring across the technical stack from engineers to researchers.
• Deep network in US research and engineering talent markets, with credibility in AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment across Research Science and Research Engineering.
• Source passive and active candidates across US research and engineering talent pools.
• Advise on market mapping, leveling, and compensation positioning.
• Translate the nuances of each technical role into compelling candidate outreach.
• Conduct intake and calibration sessions with hiring managers.
• Drive efficient, high-conversion pipelines and close candidates.
