Job summary

SMX is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead a 10+ person development team in a Federal DoD context, delivering a Modernized Data Science Platform. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, and hands-on experience with data analytics development.

On-site presence is required at least three days a week at the Pentagon, with a focus on architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of enterprise reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.

• 10+ years managing technical development teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 10+ developers and resources to deliver Enterprise Analytics.
• Design Enterprise Analytics Vision and Strategy with client.
• Track day-to-day tasks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support Sr. Technical Architect in design and delivery of analytics solutions.
• Engage in requirements elicitation, analysis, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and DoD stakeholders.
• Mentor team through code reviews and documentation.
