Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a senior Data Analyst and Technical Developer to advance DoD data analytics within SAP-based ecosystems.

You will craft automated, decision-ready metrics and data products for the Portfolio Advancement Enterprise, interfacing with OSW, DAF, and other stakeholders. The role requires 8–10 years of technical analytics experience, leading data products, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, computer science, analytics, or related field (master’s preferred).
• 8–10 years of experience in data analytics, systems engineering, or technical development roles.
• Experience with SAP environments and DoD enterprise data systems.
• Expertise with Power BI, including advanced DAX modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex databases and architect end-to-end data solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power Automate, and other automation frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior leaders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated, decision-quality metrics and data products to support PAE.
• Lead the PAE Scorecard effort with OSW and DAF teams.
• Analyze DoD/DAF databases and enterprise systems to identify authoritative data sources.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX for strategic metrics.
• Develop and manage SharePoint architectures, sites, permissions, and workflows for data ingestion.
• Use Python, SQL, and Power Automate to create automated data pipelines from systems like Advana.
