Job summary

Omni Design Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead planning and execution of complex semiconductor IP and SoC development programs. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with superb program management, grounded in semiconductor design.

Candidates should have hands-on IC design experience and have participated in at least one silicon tapeout before moving into or expanding into a program management role.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on IC design experience with at least one silicon tapeout.
• 3+ years of Technical Program Management for semiconductor development programs.
• Strong understanding of the full semiconductor lifecycle from spec to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional semiconductor programs from architecture through silicon release.
• Schedule, coordinate, and track resources, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate reviews across Analog, Digital, Verification, Layout, CAD, and Validation.
• Drive regular program reviews with engineering leadership and executives.
• Identify technical and schedule risks and define mitigation plans.
• Balance priorities with engineering managers for staffing and deliverables.
• Build relationships with partners, engineering teams, and leadership across sites.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Improve project execution processes and program tracking metrics.
• Support adoption of Jira, Structure, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
