Job summary

Northern Trust Corp is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee large-scale initiatives in our Chicago office. You will guide projects from concept through implementation, coordinating across business units and IT teams to ensure delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 6+ years of project experience, including leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least six years of related experience as a project team member, with two years in a leadership position.
• Experience leading complex IT programs or projects.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; ability to coordinate with clients and IT management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultation to business units and IT project management and strategies.
• Lead complex IT projects from concept through final implementation.
• Define project scope and develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Acts as a resource for direction, training, and guidance for staff while fostering teamwork and communication.
