Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner for the NBA Decision Intelligence Platform to own the backlog and roadmap for an AI-powered outreach system serving Medicare Advantage members. You will bridge business strategy, data capabilities, and activation channels.

You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and vendor teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of data signals, model scoring, and personalized actions across email, SMS, and direct mail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience as a Product Owner or Technical PM on a data-intensive or AI/ML platform; you understand pipelines, data quality, and model feedback loops as product problems, not just engineering concerns
• Proven ability to manage external dependencies across data teams, digital development, and vendor channel integrations
• Experience writing acceptance criteria and user stories that span team boundaries
• Comfort reasoning about data—reading a schema, interrogating a dashboard, and spotting anomalies
• Demonstrated use of AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) in day-to-day work

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog and roadmap; prioritize features across AI decisioning, data pipelines, and channel activation with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders
• Manage data dependency signaling into the Databricks Lakehouse to support model training and scoring
• Coordinate channel activation with digital teams, Adobe Experience Platform, and outreach channels to ensure timely personalized actions
• Write precise, implementation-ready user stories bridging technical detail with business intent across squads
• Align stakeholders by translating model performance and campaign results for senior leadership; bring field insights to delivery teams
• Own backlogs for rules (suppression, frequency caps, consent, eligibility) with compliance and business owners
