Archetype Consulting seeks a Senior Account Executive to lead media relations for B2B and enterprise technology clients in San Francisco or New York City. You will independently manage campaigns, craft strategic stories, and build relationships with top technology journalists.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, mentor junior teammates, and drive thought leadership through articles, pitches, and executive messaging. This is a fast-paced, ambitious environment with creative campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, or integrated marketing.
• Experience supporting B2B and enterprise technology clients (AI, cybersecurity, cloud, etc.).
• Proven success securing meaningful media coverage in top-tier business and tech publications.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive media relations programs across top-tier business, technology, and industry trade publications.
• Develop and execute media strategies for product launches, executive leadership, and proactive storytelling.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and editors covering enterprise technology.
• Identify opportunities by linking client narratives to industry trends and breaking news.
• Manage projects end-to-end, deliver against client objectives, deadlines, and standards.
• Draft and edit media pitches, press releases, and executive messaging.
• Prepare executives for media engagements and support spokesperson interviews.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on integrated campaigns and strategic planning.
