Job summary
The Walt Disney Company, Disney Experiences, seeks a Sr Technical Product Manager in Celebration, FL for a 30-month Project Hire to lead Shipboard Property Management Systems (SPMS) deployments on Disney Cruise Line. You will partner with IT, operations and vendor teams to deliver reliable onboard guest services.
This role requires 5+ years in technical product management, strong API, SQL/PLSQL, and Jira/Scrum experience, plus the ability to manage technical teams and communicate with
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical product management.
- Experience with Shipboard Property Management Systems (SPMS) required.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices for PMS.
- Proven Jira usage, SCRUM experience, and story grooming.
- Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate across stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of SPMS hardware and network concepts.
- SQL/PLSQL experience and Postman usage.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and functional support for SPMS on board.
- Troubleshoot issues, support users, and coordinate software updates.
- Monitor SPMS performance and apply updates.
- Develop training programs and user manuals.
- Collaborate with IT, Operations and offshore teams.
- Ensure deployments align with timelines and budgets.
- Gather requirements and design deployment strategies.
- Resolve incidents quickly with stakeholders.
