Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle/Cupertino is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the end-to-end network software stack for the TeraWave constellation. You will own the integrated roadmap, drive cross-functional delivery across software, silicon, hardware, and operations, and report to engineering leadership.

The role focuses on coordinating complex programs spanning cloud and embedded software, with strong emphasis on risk management and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field
• 10+ years of technical program management or equivalent leadership with software engineering
• Experience leading complex, multi-team software programs from planning through release and deployment
• Experience coordinating software delivery with hardware/silicon/embedded systems

Responsibilities

• Drive the integrated roadmap and execution plan across SDN, PoP, network platform, and wireless MAC software teams.
• Establish sprint planning and execution mechanisms with milestone reviews and risk tracking.
• Develop a six-month rolling roadmap translating architecture and milestones into software deliverables.
• Coordinate deliverables and readiness criteria across software, silicon, hardware, and operations teams.
• Identify critical-path items, risks, and establish mitigation plans.
• Lead cross-functional planning for major integration, testing, deployment, and readiness milestones.
• Define and track program metrics for delivery health and schedule confidence.
• Communicate status, tradeoffs, risks, and actions to engineering leadership and stakeholders.
