Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Application Support Lead to manage the Global Financial Crimes sanctions portfolio. You will lead production support, ensure platform stability, and drive continuous service improvement while partnering with technology, compliance, and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes operational risk management, resiliency, and automation in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to Hadoop, Teradata, Informatica, and cloud monitoring.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in large, regulated environments.
• Proven experience leading production support teams and managing mission-critical applications.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated industries.
• Proven production incidents, service restoration and problem management experience.
• Strong understanding of operational risk, audit, controls and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leadership.
• Hands-on in Unix/Linux, SQL, Autosys and monitoring/observability tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices including Incident, Problem, Change and Knowledge Management.
• Knowledge of Financial Crimes or regulatory compliance domains (Sanctions, AML).

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages teams, sets maturity and quality objectives, and trains employees.
• Conducts performance reviews and develops plans to build competencies.
• Manages production support and application performance in production satisfying risk and compliance policies.
• Leads and collaborates with business/tech partners and Communities of Practice.
• Contributes to technology strategy for the domain and maintains healthy working environment.
• Lead day-to-day production support for GFC sanctions portfolio and ensure stability.
