Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. in Irving, TX, seeks a Software Development Engineer Mid to design and build integrations, APIs, and data pipelines that connect marketing platforms, ad-tech vendors, and the enterprise data lake into a unified activation layer.

You will collaborate with product managers, solution architects, software and data engineers, and QA, while embracing AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and maintain reliability and data quality across systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building backend services and APIs (Node.js, Spring/Java, Python, or similar).
• 2+ years preferred integrating third-party/vendor APIs and data feeds with authentication patterns (OAuth, IAM).
• 2+ years preferred with data pipelines and stores—SQL/NoSQL, batch and streaming (Kafka/Kinesis).
• 2+ years minimum building with cloud services (S3, IAM, serverless).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate integrations between MarTech/ad-tech vendors and enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain REST/event-driven APIs and data feeds to the data lake and activation platforms.
• Develop interfaces and tooling for marketers and analysts to operate without engineering involvement.
• Partner with data platform, DevOps, and InfoSec to land external data securely.
• Translate vendor API contracts and data specs into reliable production services.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Deliver on time with high reliability and data quality.
