Avangrid is seeking a Senior Digital Tech Lead to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade software. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape system architecture, and ensure scalable, reliable solutions that meet business goals.

You will mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and drive continuous improvement across platforms and capabilities, spanning web and mobile solutions with modern Angular and Java-based backends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/Engineering with 7–10+ years in senior tech leadership.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade multi-tier apps.
• Expertise in modern Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native design.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of system software and applications.
• Guide architecture, ensure performance and reliability at scale.
• Mentor engineers and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Drive solution design, and orchestrate cross-team collaboration.
• Shape technology strategy and align with business objectives.
• Coordinate work with internal teams and external contractors.
