Job summary

AVANGRID is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Architect to lead design, development, and deployment of advanced cloud-based solutions. You will steer networking, DevOps, and architecture across teams, ensuring scalable, secure platforms and effective CI/CD implementations.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - IT Infrastructure, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget while advancing digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in IT/CS.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; capable of leading teams.
• Proven ability to drive architecture and DevOps initiatives in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions for performance and scalability.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure; code and IaC/CaC practices.
• Own cloud/hybrid network architecture including VPC/VNet, routing, and OT integration.
• Develop and enforce CI/CD strategies across dev, QA, and production environments.
• Create and maintain solution architecture documentation for teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple departments and clients.
