Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Tech Infra Program Manager to lead cross-functional design and deployment of next-generation sortation and distribution solutions across our network. You will own large scale infrastructure programs, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and drive schedules from design to handover to operations.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of PM experience in industrial automation or distribution centers, strong CAD skills, and the ability to work in ambiguity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience with complex MHE and packaging lines or process design based on Lean Manufacturing or Toyota Manufacturing System
• Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360)

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple large, highly complex programs through the develop and deployment lifecycle.
• Deeply understand the business and technical requirements of product integration from mechanical, electrical, and controls functions
• Fluency in systems level architecture; critique and debate tech design; tailor communication for tech and non-tech stakeholders
• Work with Operations Leadership to manage network strategy and project priority
• Define program/scope and technical/business requirements for design engineering teams
• Evaluate solutions and make decisions balancing business value and tech risk
• Identify standards and drive consistent engineering changes across North America
• Build strong relationships with FC leadership and operations teams across sites
• Communicate and present program status to VPs of Engineering and Operations
• Travel up to 50% to interact with stakeholders
