Job summary
Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated in Boston is seeking a Senior Manager, Innovation and Business Transformation to drive technology-enabled transformation initiatives across Medical Writing Science (MWS). You will translate business needs into requirements, coordinate testing, and ensure adoption of new capabilities that improve scientific and operational workflows.
The role collaborates with MWS leaders, users, and enterprise technology partners, plans prototypes and pilots, and leads change
Qualifications
- Experience supporting business transformation, digital innovation, AI enablement, process improvement, automation, analytics, or technology-enabled workflow initiatives.
- Ability to translate business and user needs into requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, implementation plans, and success measures.
- Strong analytical, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Execute defined technology-enabled transformation initiatives, coordinating activities, milestones, stakeholders, and deliverables to achieve established business outcomes.
- Assess current-state workflows, identify pain points and user needs, and contribute to future-state process design and improvement recommendations.
- Translate business needs into detailed requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow specifications, implementation plans, and success measures.
- Plan and facilitate prototypes, pilots, workflow validation, user acceptance testing, and implementation activities.
- Monitor adoption, user feedback, process performance, and initiative outcomes using reporting tools; identify improvement opportunities.
