Qualifications
- 7+ years post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- Experience drafting/negotiating technology-related contracts (software, SaaS, IT services).
- Strong IP and data privacy knowledge (POPIA).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (software licensing, SaaS, SLAs, reseller agreements).
- Advise on IP matters including copyright, trademarks, and patents.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (POPIA) and privacy laws.
- Manage commercial litigation and dispute resolution as needed.
- Support business development initiatives and strategic alliances.
- Develop standardized contract templates and legal policies.
