Aprio is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join its Technology Client Accounting Services team and support a portfolio of fast-growing technology and ecommerce clients. You will own monthly close, collaborate with U.S. and offshore team members, and drive process improvements for scalable financial operations.

You will mentor junior colleagues, leverage modern accounting platforms, and help deliver accurate, timely reporting in a distributed work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years client-facing accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite.
• Strong Excel and Adobe Acrobat skills; MS Office proficiency.
• Able to manage multiple clients with deadlines in a distributed team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for a portfolio of tech/ecommerce clients.
• Own weekly accounting activities and month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review team work and walk clients through monthly reporting.
• Diagnose errors and recommend fixes for past and future periods.
• Document processes and maintain knowledge of accounting systems and integrations.
• Mentor junior and offshore team members and promote knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows via automation and tooling.
