As a Senior Teamcenter Performance Architect, you will be part of the Performance Engineering & Monitoring team supporting customer-facing performance improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, the ability to troubleshoot complex system bottlenecks, and the drive to translate findings into practical configuration and customization recommendations that improve real user outcomes.
Senior Teamcenter Performance Architect
Remote (Fully Remote)
Lead Teamcenter performance improvement by analyzing performance issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions through configuration or customization.
Own transaction analysis for login, search, BOM, JT downloads, and other key workflows to isolate bottlenecks across application, database, network, and storage.
Design and execute performance baselining and testing activities (load, stress, endurance, and scalability) to support SLA/KPI definition and measurable improvements.
Drive monitoring and observability for Teamcenter environments, with Nagios as a non-negotiable requirement, and support correlation of alerts, logs, and service health.
Apply deep Teamcenter architecture knowledge to critical areas including FSC/FMS, Dispatcher, Multi-site architecture, dispatcher queues, scheduled jobs, and multi-site monitoring/synchronization.
Senior-level Teamcenter platform expertise, including Enterprise 2-tier, 4-tier, and web architecture; Active Workspace; Enterprise Tier and web tier.
Strong knowledge of FSC/FMS, Dispatcher, and Multi-site architecture, with demonstrated experience improving performance in these areas.
Non-negotiable Nagios experience: work with Nagios configurations, configure new services/systems, and handle monitoring changes in the current environment.
Experience with performance engineering and tuning in Teamcenter/PLM environments, including improving data loading, translation performance, login/connection performance, and overall system responsiveness/reliability.
Ability to analyze performance logs and related information using Siemens General Workbench (preferred) and to perform Oracle SQL tuning (execution plans, AWR/ASH, statistics) plus JVM/process/service health correlation.
Work on real, high-impact performance improvements in a managed services environment where your expertise directly resolves customer-facing issues.
Collaborate closely with an existing team and support operational needs across monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Use a structured approach to performance baselining, transaction analysis, and bottleneck isolation to drive measurable outcomes.
Operate in a fully remote role with the expectation to align with CST or EST time zones.
