Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is seeking a seasoned TBM leader to own and evolve the Technology Business Management framework, taxonomies, and cost transparency across IT domains. You will partner with Infrastructure, Application Development, Finance and Tech leaders to deliver cost models, planning, forecasting, and executive dashboards, enabling informed technology investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, information technology, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in TBM, IT Finance, ITFM, FinOps, or related disciplines.
• Strong accounting, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting experience.
• Deep understanding of TBM taxonomy, service costing, allocations, chargeback/showback, and technology cost transparency (Apptio highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the TBM framework, including TBM taxonomy, service costing, chargeback, showback, and allocation models.
• Develop and maintain technology cost models for infrastructure, applications, cloud, and shared services costs.
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, and financial analysis activities with insights for technology investments.
• Analyze technology spending, cost drivers, consumption patterns, and service demand to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support technology billing, allocations, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial controls.
• Deliver executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and recommendations translating data into insights.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Application Development, Service Owners, Finance, and Technology leaders to align funding strategies.
• Conduct benchmark to evaluate technology cost, service performance, and value delivery.
• Establish governance and repeatable TBM reporting processes.
• Serve as TBM SME to explain technology spending and business value.
• Drive automation of TBM reporting, analytics, and financial processes.
• Promote TBM best practices across processes.
