Job summary

Ryan seeks a Senior Consultant, Tax Technology who collaborates with internal stakeholders and clients to identify business challenges, design scalable solutions, and deliver data-driven tax outcomes. The role involves requirements analysis, ETL, solution configuration, testing, and documentation using Alteryx, Power BI, Databricks, and Microsoft Power Platform.

Independent judgment and mentorship of team members are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, information systems, computer science, technology, data analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in consulting, business analysis, tax technology, technology implementation, data analysis, ETL processes, process improvement, or related professional services.
• Experience with low-code/no-code tools, ETL processes, automation, data visualization, and reporting preferred.
• Experience supporting project delivery, including requirements gathering, documentation, data analysis, testing, stakeholder coordination, and implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and system requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Provide proactive status updates and maintain effective communication throughout project life cycles.
• Assist with data gathering, extraction, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Develop and deliver high-quality client documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Support resolution of client inquiries, technical questions, and service-related matters.
