Job summary

StateServ Medical, Inc. seeks an experienced senior tax professional to lead the company’s tax compliance and planning efforts from a remote/office setting. The role focuses on coordinating federal, state, local, and other tax filings, and working with external auditors to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 7+ years of progressive tax experience including ASC 740 knowledge, and a track record of partnering with auditors and tax advisors. Public accounting background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field preferred.
• CPA preferred; Master’s in Taxation (MST) preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience, including indirect taxes and exposure to tax provision calculations.
• Experience partnering with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Company’s income tax compliance process with auditors and tax advisors for timely filings.
• Serve as the primary internal tax subject matter expert providing guidance across the organization.
• Organize a tax calendar ensuring timely filing and payments of various taxes.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive tax strategy aligned with business objectives and growth.
• Support quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and disclosures.
