Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our tax team within the Accounting and Finance department. You will drive tax planning, ensure compliance, and guide senior management on strategic tax decisions.

The role reports to the Director of Finance, offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits, and requires CPA licensure with 5+ years in tax management or public accounting, including deep federal/state tax knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master’s degree in Taxation preferred
• Active CPA license required
• Minimum 5 years in tax manager or public accounting
• Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and team management
• Outstanding communication skills
• Proficiency in tax software and MS Office
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax planning and compliance including federal and state returns
• Review tax data, prepare and document tax papers, ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize efficiency
• Collaborate with accounting staff to prepare and file tax returns
• Stay updated with tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance
• Provide tax guidance to senior management on implications of activities
• Handle tax audits and resolve notices
• Maintain relationships with external tax advisors and authorities
• Assist in financial planning and analysis as needed

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Master’s degree in Taxation (preferred)
