Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent license required.
• Experience in a professional service environment such as a CPA firm or financial consulting firm.
• Minimum CPE credit requirement must be met.
• Specific positions may require additional industry or specialization certifications.

Responsibilities

• Tax Strategy and Engagement Oversight: develop and implement tax planning strategies.
• Analyze complex tax scenarios, including mergers and acquisitions, to provide optimal solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of tax engagements, supervise staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor engagement progress, budgets and timelines; adjust to meet client expectations.
• Lead tax research efforts and stay current with evolving tax laws.
• Communicate complex tax concepts to clients and deliver presentations.
