Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with CCH Prosystem FX and Axcess Tax is preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent licensure pursued or relevant certification.
• Responsible for completing the minimum CPE credit requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of tax engagements, including planning, preparation, and review of various tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, etc.).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing tax inquiries and fostering relationships.
• Collaborate with partners and managers to ensure seamless client service delivery and alignment with firm objectives.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to develop proactive planning strategies and identify opportunities to minimize liabilities.
• Communicate complex tax concepts to clients and prepare presentations on tax matters.
• Review and oversee the preparation of tax returns for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor tax filing deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Stay current with federal, state, and local tax laws and changes.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to share insights and mentor staff.
• Identify opportunities to enhance tax workflows and processes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
