UHY is seeking a Tax Senior Accountant to prepare financial information for clients, including individual and business tax returns, while overseeing internal staff and collaborating with firm leadership.

The role emphasizes managing tax engagements, client communication, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Strong technical knowledge and CPA licensure progress are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in tax services.
• Experience with listed tax software solutions (see tools).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of tax engagements including planning, preparation and review of returns.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients and foster strong relationships.
• Collaborate with partners and managers to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with firm objectives.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to develop proactive planning strategies.
