Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Senior to join the Core Tax Services team in delivering high-quality tax compliance and planning services. The role involves supervising Core Tax Services Associates, coordinating engagements, and ensuring timely delivery while upholding firm standards.

The candidate will perform tax research, assist with ASC 740 tax accruals, and identify opportunities to optimize client tax positions, working closely with both clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics required or CPA/EA eligibility.
• Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tax compliance and review, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to firm policies.
• Conduct tax research and prepare analyses to support client decisions.
• Assist with ASC 740 tax accruals and provision workpapers.
• Identify consulting opportunities to reduce clients' tax liability.
• Communicate with clients and team members to coordinate engagements.
