Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Senior in Core Tax Services to help with tax compliance, planning, and issue resolution. You will supervise associates, review returns, and ensure deadlines are met while applying tax standards and research skills.

The role emphasizes gathering client information, using tax software, and communicating findings to the team and clients. CPA or EA is preferred, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of prior tax experience, preferably in public accounting or consulting.
• CPA, Attorney or EA preferred; CPA/licensure supported by state regulations.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client tax compliance while minimizing tax burden and adhering to policies.
• Plan tax process, coordinate engagements, and communicate expectations to preparers.
• Review returns and provide notes; identify and discuss potential tax issues.
• Meet internal deadlines for timely client service delivery.
• Conduct research, apply tax standards, and prepare footnotes and disclosures.
