H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs. You will provide expert tax training and work with a team dedicated to client service and accuracy.

This role emphasizes conducting virtual and face-to-face interviews, preparing returns, and driving client growth. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in accounting and CPA/EA credentials, with 5+ years in accounting, finance, or tax, and experience with virtual tools and IRS support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
