H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, backed by an expert team and advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete returns, and help grow the practice while ensuring high retention and quality IRS support. This role offers flexible hours during tax season and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representation for circular 230 associates)
• Mentor and support teammates
