Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll receive advanced tax training and work with an expert team to help clients make confident financial decisions.

You will conduct tax interviews (in person or virtually), prepare returns, and support IRS interactions while seeking opportunities to grow the client base. Prior experience and CPA/EA certification are valued.

Qualifications

• Interview clients for tax needs using in-person or virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation where applicable.
• Mentor teammates and share best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face or via video, phone or chat.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of individual, trust and partnership tax returns.
• Support tax notices and IRS interactions as needed.
• Help drive client growth and cross-sell available services.
• Mentor and assist teammates in tax workflow.
