Job summary

H&R Block in Oklahoma is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to be successful, leveraging both in-person and virtual tools.

Responsibilities include conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, and helping clients understand options while driving business growth and client retention. CPA/EA certification and 5+ years in tax or related fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
