Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience working in a client-facing, advisory role.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, providing recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive office environment.
