Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll complete interviews, prepare returns, and provide IRS support with the help of a supportive franchise team.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, and 5+ years in tax or accounting; experience with virtual interviews, tax planning, and audit support is preferred. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (notice services for Circular 230 associates and audit representation)
• Mentor and support teammates

Responsibilities

• Prepare returns for clients and ensure accuracy
• Conduct client interviews using in-person and virtual tools
• Support franchise team with tax-related services and client growth

Skills

Experience completing complex returns

5+ years in tax/accounting/finance

Virtual tax interviews experience

Education
