Job summary

H&R Block in Oklahoma is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs alongside an expert team. You'll receive advanced tax training to help clients make confident financial decisions.

Responsibilities include conducting tax interviews, preparing complete returns, and supporting clients through IRS processes; you will mentor teammates and help grow the business by offering additional products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

Experience completing complex returns

5+ years of experience in accounting,

Experience conducting virtual tax

Experience with tax planning and audit

Sales and/or marketing experience
