Job summary

EY EDGE practice offers opportunities to work on US and global tax information reporting and withholding engagements across financial services sectors. You will lead the tax operations team, oversee data preparation, reporting, and client engagements, and drive process improvement with a focus on NRA withholding, FATCA, and related areas.

You will collaborate with delivery teams, manage workloads, and support audits while developing team capabilities in a flexible, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• A minimum of 8+ years of operational delivery experience.
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney.
• Ability to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to draft/design business requirements, process flow diagrams and rules matrices.
• Change management, operations and process improvement experience.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and actively engage in implementing improvements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and proven skills in developing employees.
• Strong oral and written communication as well as presentation skills.
• Exceptionally strong organization, process and people management skills.
• Excellent trouble shooting, execution and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point, Proficiency in tax accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax operations team and manage data preparation, aggregation, reporting, and filings.
• Coordinate day-to-day client interactions and monitor KPIs across work streams.
• Ensure standardized processes and provide leadership visibility on status and issues.
• Support client internal and external audits with documentation of current processes.
• Develop team members and manage engagement economics.
• Travel 20% or less.
