Horter Investment Management in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to own technical tax work and scale the tax division across offices. This role blends tax planning with compliance, focusing on long-term wealth-building strategies for clients and leading complex returns with an outsourced prep partner handling standard filings.

Competenze

• Active EA or CPA license in good standing (Ohio and Kentucky experience preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, local firm, or RIA/wealth-management setting.
• Strong technical depth in individual and business tax preparation and planning.
• Growth mindset and desire to build scalable tax capacity.
• Based in the Cincinnati area with in-office work and some extended hours during tax season.

• Tax Planning: partner with advisors year-round on proactive planning and integration into client plans.
• Business Advisory: support business-owner clients with discounted tax offerings and related events; provide accounting/bookkeeping support when appropriate.
• Tax Prep & Quality Review: handle complex individual and all business returns; review outsourced filings for accuracy.
• Division Leadership: help lead growth, improve processes, and shape long-term tax services strategy.
