Qualifications

• Active CPA or EA license in good standing.

• Expertise in tax planning, tax compliance, and complex tax matters.
• Ability to communicate tax strategies effectively to clients and financial advisors.
• Strong organizational, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Cincinnati, OH.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during tax season and attend client events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies for individuals, business owners, and retirement-focused clients.
• Prepare complex individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Review tax returns prepared by an outsourced tax preparation partner.
• Collaborate with financial advisors to integrate tax strategies into clients' financial and retirement plans.
• Provide tax advisory services, including tax projections, scenario analysis, and business tax planning.
• Support business-owner clients with tax-related guidance, accounting, and bookkeeping matters when appropriate.
• Oversee tax preparation workflows, improve processes, and maintain quality standards.
• Manage relationships with outsourced tax preparation providers.
• Contribute to the expansion of tax advisory services across multiple offices.
• Participate in client meetings, seminars, and educational events as needed.
