Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications, optimize compliance, and lead complex tax issues. You will manage research, ASC 740 matters, and tax strategy development for diverse clients.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and ability to guide associates while maintaining client relationships and collaborating with partners.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of prior relevant tax experience
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or EA (or equivalent)
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to delegate and manage a team of tax professionals

Responsibilities

• Oversee Tax Compliance and ensure client and firm policy adherence
• Lead ASC 740/FIN 48 tax accruals and related provisions
• Provide Tax Consulting and strategy recommendations to maximize client benefits
• Supervise and mentor associates and seniors, and manage client relationships
• Develop tax strategies and communicate complex issues to clients
