Job summary

MBE CPAs is seeking a Tax Manager to lead client relationships and ensure timely delivery of tax and financial work. You will prepare payroll, tax, and corporate/individual returns while advising clients on financial and tax strategies.

The role emphasizes strong communication with clients, collaboration with the team, and opportunities for growth. Onsite, hybrid, or remote options are available with relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Preparing payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
• Preparing corporate and individual tax returns.
• Building new and strengthening existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
