Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's in Accounting; MST or MBA is a strong plus.
• 5–8+ years of progressive tax experience within public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of current tax laws and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
• Experience with tax research software and tax automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Review complex federal and state tax returns with focus on accuracy and tax-saving opportunities.
• Serve as primary contact for key clients, offering year-round tax planning and advisory services.
• Lead, mentor, and delegate work to staff accountants.
• Manage workflow, deadlines, and budgets for the tax department during peak seasons.
• Resolve complex tax issues through advanced research using modern tools.
