Job summary

MBE CPAs is seeking a Tax Manager to lead client relationships while ensuring timely delivery of annual tax products and monthly financial work. The role involves preparing payroll, tax, and business records, and producing corporate and individual tax returns.

You will build and strengthen client relationships, offer advisory recommendations, and collaborate with the tax team to meet client needs. The position supports onsite, hybrid, or remote arrangements in a dynamic firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Preparing payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
• Preparing corporate and individual tax returns.
• Building new and strengthening existing client relationships while demonstrating knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicating with clients and providing recommendations on financial or tax needs.
