Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience serving high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years of tax compliance experience with complex individual and business taxes.
• Public accounting experience required.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team and manage multiple client engagements.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, especially in financial services.
• Have knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment and trusts/estates/gifts/charitable entities.
• Engage with clients to deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions.
• Review complex tax returns and maintain regular client communication.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients, staff, and external vendors.
• Provide training and supervision to staff and evaluate their work.
• Occasional travel to client locations may be required.
• Solicit new client relationships and participate in client seminars.
