Qualifications

• CPA credential and/or active CPA license.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in taxation and/or accounting; Master’s preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare federal and multi-state individual and trust tax returns for high net-worth individuals and families.
• Research and critically analyze tax technical issues.
• Advise and provide guidance on tax planning and compliance matters.
• Delegate workflow to staff and oversee completion of work products.
• Interact with clients and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Correspond with federal and state taxing authorities regarding nonresident tax withholding and notices.
• Address ad-hoc needs of clients, including analyses of potential tax implications of transactions and life events.
