Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks a Senior Private Client Services professional to lead tax engagements for high net-worth individuals and families in Houston, TX. You will oversee complex returns, client communications, and collaboration with advisors to craft tailored tax plans.

You will supervise associates, develop technical knowledge, and contribute to business development while maintaining client relationships and ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• CPA, EA, attorney or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs.
• Acts as primary client contact for issues and resolutions.
• Reviews complex tax returns for various entities and provides feedback.
• Directs communication with government agencies on complex matters.
• Performs tax research and develops recommendations for leadership and clients.
• Develops knowledge through client engagements and current tax developments.
• Prioritizes work to keep engagements on track.
• Supports billing, recruiting, and training activities.
• Builds relationships with clients and professionals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics

Master's in Accountancy or Taxation
