Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join its Business Tax Services group. You will lead tax compliance and advisory work for pass-through entities, oversee client engagements, and mentor junior staff. This role demands strong leadership and a deep understanding of partnership taxation.

Qualified candidates have extensive pass-through experience, CPA or equivalent credentials, and a track record of managing multiple client engagements. This position is based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of pass-through and partnership tax experience.
• CPA, JD/LLM or EA designations preferred; at least one approved credential.
• Experience with pass-through entities and partnerships.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for a variety of Asset Management clients.
• Oversee a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects.
• Advise clients and be accountable for delivering high quality tax service and advice.
• Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.
• Senior Manager: manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets.
