Ideal candidates have at least six years' public accounting experience, CPA certification, and strong client and staff leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Six years of public accounting experience or more.
• CPA required or equivalent licensure.
• Strong client management and staff leadership abilities.
• Experience supervising and training staff.
• Experience with CCH Axcess tax software is helpful but not required.
• Analytical and technical skills across multi-state and complex tax areas.
• Capable of tax research and problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication; client interface experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax preparation for complex business, individual and trust returns (federal/state).
• Research and analyze multifaceted tax issues and provide planning opportunities.
• Work with lead tax partner on sophisticated M&A transactions.
• Draft memos and communicate with clients and taxing authorities.
• Mentor and develop Associates and maintain client relations.
