Prosperity Partners, a Chicago-headquartered public accounting firm, seeks an energetic Tax Manager to lead tax preparation for complex business, individual and trust returns. The role emphasizes research, planning opportunities, and collaboration with the lead tax partner on sophisticated M&A transactions.

Ideal candidates have at least six years' public accounting experience, CPA certification, and strong client and staff leadership abilities.

Formación

• Six years of public accounting experience or more.
• CPA required or equivalent licensure.
• Strong client management and staff leadership abilities.
• Experience supervising and training staff.
• Experience with CCH Axcess tax software is helpful but not required.
• Analytical and technical skills across multi-state and complex tax areas.
• Capable of tax research and problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication; client interface experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage tax preparation for complex business, individual and trust returns (federal/state).
• Research and analyze multifaceted tax issues and provide planning opportunities.
• Work with lead tax partner on sophisticated M&A transactions.
• Draft memos and communicate with clients and taxing authorities.
• Mentor and develop Associates and maintain client relations.
