MDS Staffing is recruiting a Senior Tax Manager for a growing CPA firm in the East Valley (Tempe, AZ). You will report to Tax Partners and Senior Managers, supervise a small team, and review and sign federal and multi-state returns for C corps, S corps, partnerships, trusts, individuals, and tax-exempt organizations.

This role offers a base salary of $140,000 to $175,000 and provides a clear path to partnership as you mentor others and expand client relationships while staying current with tax

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Master's degree in Tax a plus
• CPA designation required
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service
• High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communications
• Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred
