Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC in Tempe, AZ is recruiting a Senior Tax Manager for a growing East Valley CPA firm. You will supervise and mentor a small tax team and review and sign federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations.

This is an opportunity for a Tax Manager who wants to advance to Partner. Base salary ranges from $140,000 to $175,000 per year, with strong emphasis on leadership, client service, and staying

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service.
• High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a small tax team.
• Review and sign federal and multi-state tax returns for various entity types.
• Collaborate with Tax Partners & Senior Managers and report to them as needed.
• Continue to develop client relationships and deliver proactive tax services.
