Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Senior Tax Manager for a growing CPA firm in the East Valley. You will supervise a small team, review and sign federal and multi-state tax returns for a range of entities, and partner with Tax Partners to drive client service and growth.

The base salary ranges from $140,000 to $175,000 annually. A CPA is required, with 10+ years of public accounting tax experience and a demonstrated ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master's degree in Tax a plus.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service.
• High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communications.
• Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred.
